A boy that will one day become the man, the artist, Romero Britto, one of Miami’s most famous residents. But on this day, none of that matters. This day, like so many others before and after, he’s just a boy, sitting under a guava tree, drawing. DUO Magazine Brings Together WSVN’s Room for Improvement, City Furniture and Lowe’s for Makeover of Lighthouse of Broward Lobby

The Lighthouse of Broward was recently selected for a makeover of its lobby by DUO Magazine and the Room for Improvement segment that airs on 7 News. Martin Amado (www.martinamado.com), the host and designer of Room for Improvement and owner of The Wow Factor!, Inc. decorating firm, transformed a room he said reminded him “of a doctor’s waiting area.” He also felt the area lacked identity. “Once you’ve walked through the front doors, there was no signage or logo that recognized this nonprofit organization and the great work they do for the blind and visually impaired.”
